Privacy Policy

Signing in

• Your phone number, so Sabi can find your account and text you a sign-in code. Members can use their email address and password instead.
• A random device identifier, the device model, the iOS version, the app build, and a push-notification token. These let Sabi nudge the app to sync when you ask for a reminder or log a meal.

Apple Health (only if you allow it)

• When you allow access, the app uploads the data below from your iPhone to Sabi's servers.
• Read: steps, walking and running distance, active energy, workouts, sleep, heart rate (daily average, minimum, and maximum), resting heart rate, heart rate variability, body weight, and nutrition (energy, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and water).
• Write: meals you log by texting Sabi a photo. Sabi writes the estimated energy, protein, carbohydrates, and fat to Apple Health.
• Sabi uses this data for one thing: to answer the questions you text about your health and to keep your Health app up to date. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with data brokers.

Reminders (only if you allow it)

• When you allow access, the app uploads the list name, title, notes, due date, and completion state of your reminders to Sabi's servers.
• When you ask, Sabi adds or completes reminders on your phone.

Contacts (only if you allow it)

• When you allow access, the app uploads the names, organizations, phone numbers, and email addresses in your contacts to Sabi's servers.
• Sabi uses them only to look up a number or an email address when you ask, and to recognise the people you mention. They are never used for marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties.

Where it goes

Synced data is stored on Sabi's servers in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. When you ask Sabi a question, the AI model providers that generate Sabi's reply process only the data needed for that request. The infrastructure providers that host Sabi act as processors on Sabi's behalf. Nobody else receives it.

You stay in control

• The app only reads what you allow. Change access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health, Reminders, or Contacts.
• Tap Delete my Sabi account in the app to permanently delete your whole Sabi account and every record it holds, including the data this app synced. Sabi sends you a copy of your data first, with a download link that works for 30 days.
• Synced data is kept while your account is active and deleted with your account. You can also delete your account from app.meetsabi.com/account.
